Included Behaviours

The following behaviours are included in MCD. Each have a wide variety of exposed parameters for adjusting their behaviours.

Position Modifiers

Position - Base Location

Sources the base position of a camera from one of the following:

• A global position
• A position local to the player
• A position of a socket on the player (requires an ACharacter player)
• The player's eye height

Position - Offset

Offsets the camera in global and/or local space by a specified amount. Local offsets are sourced from the camera’s orientation, with scales for the contribution of the axis to that orientation (if, for example, you want to offset locally in the Y axis but don’t want X offsets to be contributed to by the pitch of the camera).

Position - Distance Offset

Offsets the camera in its local X axis by a specific amount. This is a simple “boom arm” style offset.

Position - Advanced Lag

Smooths and interpolates the position of the camera with a high degree of malleability. This includes:

• The scale of influence the lag has over the XY plane and Z axis
• An interpolation speed curve driven by the distance between the target and current points of the modifier, utilizing a custom interpolation implementation.
• Snapping options, both for if the camera snaps at an interpolation speed of zero (useful if the camera should only move when the player is a given distance from the target) and a ‘max distance’ snap.
